Identity Framework for Toukley and Budgewoi
Central Coast Council, 2020
An assembly of graphics, words and phrases designed to express each towns unique image and essence. Its a little like the town centre’s DNA and fingerprints.
Toukley and Budgewoi’s Identity Packages are an assembly of graphics, words and phrases designed to express each towns unique image and essence. Its a little like the town centre’s DNA and fingerprints.
Through observation and research and by speaking directly with the people who make up the community, we have been able to separate and identify the things that make Toukley and Budgewoi different from other places.
By going through this process, we are able to move from vague unexpressed sentiments to a more tangible range of things. These things draw on each towns unique geography and people based history – and the ideas that inspire the community and their vision for the future.
The imagery and words created during the process will be used by Council and local businesses to more easily project a unified persona – in signage, public domain improvements, public art, editorials and publications.
